Qualification
The aim of the training for obtaining an FI (A) instructor rating is to teach and prepare the applicant to be able to teach future students, recognize mistakes, be able to assess and pass on flying knowledge and knowledge to a sufficiently high standard and prepare them for PPL (A) qualification. ). The training is performed on PS28 Cruiser or Diamond DA40D aircraft.
Minimal requirements
- Age at least 18 years
- Valid CPL (A), ATPL (A) license
- Valid PPL (A) license - with completed CPL theory
- Valid medical certificate I. or II. Classes
- At least 200 hours on airplanes, of which 150 hours as PIC
- Fly at least 20 hours of VFR overflight in the relevant PIC category aircraft, including VFR PIC overflight, including a flight of at least 540 km (300 NM), during which full landings will be made at two different aerodromes.
- To fly at least 10 hours according to the aircraft of the relevant category, of which 5 hours may be ground instrument time spent in the simulator (FSTD)
- Pass an entrance exam to assess the applicant's ability to complete the course
Course progress
The aviation course is divided into theoretical and practical - aviation part.
Theoretical part
The theoretical part tries to prepare the applicant how to properly teach and teach new students, how to sell them knowledge and skills, recognize their shortcomings either.
Practical part
The practical part consists of flying flight training for at least 30 hours, where the applicant for the FI (A) rating flies from the right seat.
